![]() ![]() ![]() Usually i loose my ethernet connection when i need internet connection most! As you correctly mentioned while a high speed data transfer demand (multiple video conferences, downloading big folders etc)Īs of the errors i get, there are only 2. However you mentioned this hadn't fixed anything, so you will need to provide more info. This was the result of a faulty cable and replacing usually fixes it. Sometimes updated or even rolled back drivers also resolve this. The only time I have had this issue, is when large amounts of data being transferred would kill the port. How is your DHCP and DNS setup? Did you not reserve correctly and it is giving your same IP to another device to conflict? Does your DNS point to the router or whichever dedicated DHCP server to hand out addresses? What type of cable is being used?: CAT #? STP or UTP? If it runs through the wall, is it right next to large electricity pipes? We would also need to know where you are plugging into: Directly into a router port, switch port, extender, wall jack, etc. I don't see any specifics for the errors, would you mind copying them here? Is there something specific you are doing when the cable connection is removed? Such as: high speed data transfer, certain website or program, etc.? Whenever this problem occurs if i run the troubleshoot option for the adapter 2 errors are presented.ġ) ethernet doesnt have a valid ip configuration (this one is always shown)Ģ) ethernet cable is not properly pluged in (this sometimes is shown sometimes does not)ĭo you any of you happen to have/had this issue? Any advice? I tried evertything! Using different cables, updated the drivers, i reinstalled every driver, i clean installed Windows and i sent an email considering this issue to Killer company itself but they never replied. If i connect through wifi though, everything works as it should. (while i am typing this it happened twice) I must diagnose or disable-enable the adapter for it to work again. Whenever i connect my ethernet cable, something happens and suddenly i lose my internet connection. Do any of you, have the killer e3000 ethernet controller? and if you do, do you face any issues with your ethernet connection? ![]()
